An outdoor rug is one of those items customers only consider when they need another item. Someone buys outdoor furniture, and then it becomes clear that the tiles or floor underneath really detract from it. This collection is designed as a complement: one size, four color combinations, all weather-resistant. Ideal to place next to outdoor furniture as "the floor-under-your-table".
What will you find in the collection?
Compact selection, one size and material in various color combinations.
- Outdoor rug 118x180 cm: recycled plastic material, in four color combinations: ochre yellow-white, grey-white, taupe-white, black-white.
Each variant has a striped or herringbone pattern with alternating colors. Universally suitable for terraces of 3-6 m², balconies or verandas.
Why recycled plastic?
Two reasons: sustainability and weather resistance. Recycled plastic is resistant to rain, sun, and normal weather conditions. No weathering or discoloration with normal use over several seasons. Also sustainable: reuse of existing materials without new raw materials. An interesting argument for customers with a conscious lifestyle.
Who is this for?
Garden centers: core customers. Selling outdoor rugs as an addition to outdoor furniture and plant care. Furniture stores with an outdoor section: as an addition to furniture sales. Florists: less direct, unless as an addition to a broader outdoor ambiance offering.
How do you position outdoor rugs?
In the outdoor section, directly next to outdoor furniture. Customers buying a bistro set or side table often want to "finish" it with a rug underneath. For cross-selling: outdoor accessories, outdoor lighting, outdoor wall decor.
When does demand peak?
March-June is the main peak. Customers are furnishing their terrace or balcony for the summer season. Late summer (August-September) has a smaller peak: customers buying at attractive prices at the end of the season for next year.
